Memories
I was just thinking about something I 'said' to Truth. (what a wonderful name for you) :)
My grandmother has been gone for so long and I miss her. She was a strong complicated woman and I adored her as a child. She was my sanctuary and I would beg to stay with her. I think it upset my mother that I did this but I couldn't help it. I wanted to be with my grandmother like I wanted food. It was something I needed that much.
She talked to me about everything. She told me stories about my grandfather, who died before I was born. He was older and somewhat stern but you could hear how much she loved him. She taught me how to crochet. I spent one summer crocheting the longest chain in the world! And she took me places with her, shopping and visiting family. I know my mother was with us at least some times but my grandmother is the one I remember being there.
I dream about her, things from my childhood and I wonder if these lovely dreams are another gift from her. I think so.

damn spammers! they pop up just about anywhere these days, don't they? my grandmother taught me how to crochet too! and i seem to remember this long dark orange chain link i made once while trying to crochet. i never did learn how to wrap it around and turn it into something else.
