Babies and books

We are happily obsessed with our new grandchild. We think he is a beautiful baby, of course. My daughter had a c-section after hours of labor, poor kid. I am trying not to be grandma at the door every day, harder still is to tell the grandfather that no, we can't go every day to hold the little one. I have posted pictures on webshots, now if I could figure out how to post one here.

I have been reading, just finished 2 Terry Pratchett books, one Nevada Barr and I am waiting for another Lindsey Davis book to arrive by slow mail from China apparently. Terry Pratchett is hilarious no matter what he is writing about.

My DH took two weeks vacation and altho we didn't go anywhere, we had fun together. He did little projects around the house and helped me with some of my projects. We went out to eat and held hands across the table and felt very carefree and happy. We have been married 27 years and I still enjoy his smile across the table from me.
