Hmmm... I've been tagged?

Three random facts about my closet:

1. My house was built in 1872 so it does not have what I would call closets.(unless you call a space that is only 8 inches deep with three hooks a closet. If so then I have 2)

2. My actual closet is one of the bedrooms.

3. It isn't big enough for all of my clothes.

3 items I've never worn but still haven't tossed:

a pair of shoes that my MIL insisted my DH bring home to me. They are size 9. I wear 6.5 ???

The last pair of high heels I ever bought. I look at them every now and then and remember when I could wear shoes like that.

purple leggings, remember them?

Three Items I'll Never Get Rid Of, No Matter How Ugly They Get:

The aforementioned high heels.
My Mickey polo shirt.
black sweatshirt and sweatpants.

Three Items People Wouldn't Expect To Find In My Closet:

my daughter's prom dresses. I don't know why they are still there but they have moved with us three times so apparently have earned their place.

My DH's cowboy hat. He went through his cowboy phase as a grown up.

A small box containing long thin balloons and a device to blow them up with. Also an instruction booklet on how to make balloon animals.

Three Items That Made Me Go, "Oh Lord, What Was I Thinking?":

The aforementioned high heels

A jogging outfit with sequins and rhinestones, bright red

A white knit dress with a huge cowl collar. I look like a marshmallow in it.

Three Things That I Have A Surprising Number Of:

hangers, I think they breed when the door is closed.

shoe boxes, I know I don't have that many shoes

slippers, not pairs, ones. My old washing machine used to eat one of a pair of socks. I think my closet eats slippers.

Three Dominate Colors In My Wardrobe:

black, pink,green

Three Items That Never Fail To Put Me In A Good Mood Whenever I Wear Them:

My pink jammies from LL Bean that I paid outrageous money for. They are warm, comfy and still fit.

Diamonds, okay technically they aren't in my closet but they make me feel really good when ever I wear them which is as often as possible. I do not believe in saving them for special occasions, unless you consider going to the supermarket is a special occasion.

A winter coat my DH got me a few years ago. It is the most practical thing he has ever gotten me.

Three People To Tag:

Oh dear, I don't know anyone other than my sister who even knows what a blog is.

Lazy Sunday

I have not accomplished anything today. Why? Well, I was up late last nite. My DH got the Sims 2 Nitelife for me and let me have it early. Yippee! So of course I had to stay up so late I thought my eyes were going to fall out.

I love that game. It is one of the best games I have ever played and I am a very old PC gamer. In fact, my first computer was a Commodore Vic 20. Ever heard of it? I graduated to a Commodore 64 and eventually to a 256 IBM compatible with an honest to gosh hard drive, all 40 mg of it.

My current computer is one I built a while back. It has a modded case with lights and lots of fans, a 200 GB hard drive, 1 Gig of memory and my newest favorite toy, a dvd burner that can burn labels on the dvd when it is finished burning the data. I'll try to get a pic of it on here.

Anyway, I lounged around today talking to my DH and playing with the dogs and wishing there was something on TV. So far we have watched the premiers of Surface and Threshold. I thought they both were pretty good. Threshold seems to be turning into a conspiracy type thing, not too sure how long that will hold my attention. We will be thrilled when Deadwood comes back next year. That show grabs me and DH and holds us like few shows ever have. I know it is profane and frequently gross but the characters feel so real.
